The Dry Spell Continues...

Severe weather got as close as southern Pennsylvania yesterday, but the severe weather is eluding NYS as we enter week two of the dry spell. Don't get me wrong, this is beautiful weather, but a few thunderstorms would be nice.

If it doesn't rain this week, we might get to talk about drought conditions (though I highly doubt NYS will have a severe drought in this dry period).

The dry weather is in high contrast with last month. In March 2008, much of NYS observed much wetter-than-normal conditions, with near-average temperatures.

Might as well enjoy the sunny and seasonably warm weather while it's here. This streak of much warmer than average temperatures will probably put NYS near the record high average temperature for April.
